Module Specification
This site explains all steps to create a proper module_specification.json file, which contains all properties needed to run a module successfully on the APEER platform.
Try out our Module Properties Editor: After you created a new module, you can open it by clicking 'Generate Module Specifications' below the section of your 'Git Credentials'.
The Module Properties Editor is a simple tool that helps you to create and download the module_specification.json file for your module.
This powerful tool has a lot of different options to choose. Thus, we created a video, that explains this tool in detail.
Video: How to change your module specifications
Summary of the video:
  • Go to your module site on APEER
  • Click on 'Generate Module Specifications'
  • Change the default inputs and outputs
  • Click 'Next'
  • Enable or disable the requirements of your module (e.g. 'GPU Usage' or 'Internet access')
  • Click 'Download' and copy the content of this file in your module_specification.json in your IDE
The module specification is way more powerful than accessible via the Module Properties Editor. If there is anything missing (e.g. a type of input) don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
